C101 - The second offering from Rush Falknor’s Slit Suits project,
Gutter Touching, is a ritualistic appeasement of the ghosts of
sexual experiences past through reprocessing and destroying
personal smut. Intimate loops and crushed samples fill a bedroom as Rush mutters breathy, incomprehensible vocals
that turn you into the voyeur watching the voyeur. The grime on this tape is inches thick. Difficult-to-place sample work, jarring metallic clangs, and slams of harsh noise filth.
Rush's constantly shifting sound-work remains on a focused path, and this tape is another step through the swamp of humanity.
