Like entering a house with a hundred doors, behind each door a maze, each choice of path ending in another door. The walls are rusted, and oily tendrils grab for your ankles as you trudge along. Rough clatter & clang, a powerful voice carried by industrial winds perpetually whipping, seething swells of crackle from every direction - we hear the mazebuilders working away outside. There are moments for contemplation here, but all the while still muck continues to ooze from the ceiling. Dead field recordings pumped full of noxious gases, inflated & infected. A rotting bird carcass continues to chirp. Mold begins to grow from the end of an instrument cable, and a colony of wasps have infiltrated the mixer. Buzzing drones and low-end sap drip from the speakers like sludge.
